Ingredients:                                     

For the Curry:

  • 200 g paneer, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, pureed or Chopped Fresh Tomatoes
  • 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee

Spices & Seasoning:

    1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Base:

  • Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Stir in chopped onions and sauté until golden brown

Step 2: Add Aromatics & Spices:

Mix in ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, cooking until fragrant.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder.
Stir well to coat the onions evenly.

Step 3: Cook the Tomatoes:
Pour in tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate.

Step 4: Add Peas & Paneer:

Add green peas and paneer cubes, stirring gently to coat them in the masala.

Step 5: Simmer the Curry:
Pour in 1 cup of water and season with salt.
Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes until the peas are tender.

Step 6: Finish & Serve:
Sprinkle garam masala on top and stir
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with roti, naan, or rice
